SweetPay becomes Cleo



A lot has happened since we introduced our payments solution in 2016 in Chile, so we’ve decided to change our name and identity to reflect our evolution.


Our goal has always been to make shopping with instalments available to everyone and we’re proud to say we have done exactly that.


We have grown quickly and developed relationships with many loyal e-retailers. We have built a fantastic team of business developers, customer care staff and engineers to drive our expansion in Latin America.


Now we’re ready for the next part of our journey and our bold new identity will take us there.


Welcome to Cleo.


The BNPL space is growing incredibly quickly, with many new and evolving BNPL companies in Europe and the US. At Cleo, we believe there are great opportunities to evolve to become the number one digital payment company in Latam and a trusted BNPL partner both locally and regionally.


To evolve in this way, we aim to develop our service portfolio while continuing to offer only the highest standards of customer service to our new and existing clients.


Our new identity reflects our ambitions. The Cleo team has spent the past months working with brand strategy agency to come up with a new name , logo and brand that is fresh, modern and professional.


As part of this transition, we are re-launching our website. Apart from having a clean and colorful new look, we are now much more focused on explaining how our core services work and all the benefits for consumers and merchants.


This means extra content on how to achieve more sales and reach new consumer groups. Cleo is also proud to announce we have updated our payment instalment and core values, signaling a clear commitment to our clients and their care.


Our aim is to make sure you and your customers understand who we are, what drives us, and how we enable more business for our clients.

“We hope our colorful new brand appearance reflects clearly the direction and image of our business as we look to the future. Our revamped website is user friendly, simple, and easy to navigate and understand, from both consumer and merchant point of view, and states much more clearly what we as a company are about."


“Moving forward, we intend to continue adding material to our website on a rolling basis, particularly our resources section, which we would like to fill with useful ‘on page advertising’, how-to guides and infographics to further demystify some of the more complex themes of communications on the e-commerce website.”
